I think it would look great in an articulating pendant on a long chain, free to more around a lot! It shoots bright, geometric blue flashes all over the place. This custom designs is unique, and is one of my favorites that really stands out against other gem shapes. It's called 'Puntarella' and was designed by Marco Voltolini. This particular topaz gem is quite large for the alluvial gem rough that is found in various places throughout the island state of Tasmania. The Weld river deposit includes alluvial black spinel, sapphires, chrysoberyl and alexandrite, zircon, and topaz.
