Alpine Retreat, Rustic Comfort Amidst Splendour

A lone hunting hut stands in the high country of Central Otago, beneath the snow-capped Hawkdun Range. This is dry, tussocked back country in the heart of the South Island, where huts sit scattered far apart across the open ranges. Stephen Milner photographed the hut in black and white from its veranda, two weathered armchairs looking out across the tussock to the snow on the range. Printed to order at a specialist fine art lab and finished by hand: Under acrylic glass. The print is face mounted behind matte acrylic glass on a rigid backing and sealed for life, for deep blacks, a glare free surface and a true gallery finish. In a Basel frame.
