Product Description The Immedia SlingOn Hoist Aid is a specialist in-bed positioning aid designed to make applying a hoist sling easier for people with limited mobility. It allows carers to position a compatible hoist sling beneath the user without the need for logrolling or significant repositioning, helping reduce discomfort, friction and manual-handling strain. The SlingOn consists of two separate ultra-low-friction nylon slide sheets connected with press studs at the corners. Once positioned beneath the user, a hoist sling can be guided between the two layers for easier placement. The upper SlingOn layer is then removed before the lifting process begins. Available in Small, Medium and Large sizes, the Immedia SlingOn is particularly suitable for users who require frequent hoisting, bariatric users, or people who cannot safely be turned onto their side.
