Air Lift ICON Vehicle Dynamics 0-1" Rear 2.5 VS CDCV RR Shocks Pair | 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra - 57840CP ICON Vehicle Specific (V.S.) 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are designed and built to give your vehicle outstanding performance off-road and a smooth ride on the street. These shocks are configured specifically for each application in both length and damping tune. Like all ICON'S Shock Absorbers, V.S. 2.5 Aluminum Series shocks are fully rebuildable and re-tunable. For piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, ICON'S unique use of a 6061-billet aluminum manifold a few inches below the top cap of the shock creates an internal Bump Zone that when used creates an additional 20% of damping force. This additional force helps prevent harsh bottom outs and controls the suspension when compressing at high velocity. The ICON CDC Valve is an externally adjustable valve that restricts oil flow into the reservoir which creates 10 levels of compression damping force ranges. Features ICON's CDC Valve technology allows for 10 levels of high-resolution compression adjustability with the turn of a knob ICON’s internal “Bump Zone” increases damping by 20% to provide more control as the shock approaches full compression Remote reservoir design improves heat dissipation to reduce shock fade during prolonged use One-piece, hard anodized, impact extruded aluminum cylinders offer excellent corrosion resistance and consistent finish Premium grade 5WT shock oil for consistent suspension damping along a wide temperature range Nitrogen charged monotube design with piggyback reservoir One-piece digressive piston design with vehicle specific valving for unsurpassed performance and ride quality on and off-road All ICON 2.5 Series Piggyback and Remote Reservoir shocks can be upgraded to ICON’s Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) 7/8” diameter induction hardened, chrome plated shock shaft PTFE lined spherical bearings and application specific mounting hardware 6061 aircraft grade aluminum CNC machined components Fully rebuildable and re-tunable What our Experts Think 2.5" remote reservoir shocks provide superior cooling and consistent performance under demanding conditions. CDC Valve technology allows adjustable damping control for a more personalized driving experience. 0–1" rear lift compatibility makes them ideal for stock-height or mildly lifted Tundra setups. Improves ride quality with better control over bumps, rough terrain, and heavy loads. Reduces suspension fade during extended off-road use, towing, and demanding driving. Vehicle-specific tuning delivers balanced handling and comfort for the 2022–2026 Toyota Tundra. Rebuildable construction provides long-term durability and serviceability. Maintenance Tips Inspect rear shocks every 3,000–5,000 miles or after frequent towing, hauling, or off-road use. Clean shock bodies with mild soap and water to remove dirt, mud, and road salt. Avoid pressure washing directly at shock seals, piston rods, and adjustment components. Check for oil leaks, corrosion, dents, or damaged shock components. Inspect mounting hardware, bushings, and reservoir components for wear or damage. Ensure all bolts are tightened to the manufacturer’s torque specifications. Verify CDCV adjustment controls operate properly and remain free of debris. Monitor for changes in ride quality, damping performance, or unusual noises. Service or rebuild shocks at ICON’s recommended intervals to maintain optimal performance.
