Dean 1980 USA Made Flying V, Very Good

No sales tax for US customers outside California. A US made Dean Flying V has become a highly desirable guitar, and rightly so - this is a great play, very well made guitar. This one weighs just a hair under 7 pounds. Both pickups are DiMarzio humbuckers reading 13.53k at the neck and 13.86k at the bridge. The neck pickup was in the guitar when it arrived here and the bridge pickup had been swapped out. I found another pickup in my stash and had it rewound as it had issues. One volume potentiometer had failed, so I added a new one. The guitar has been played and enjoyed, but not beat. There is wear and there are dings, but there are no cracks or repairs. I believe the frets are original and while they've been milled there is a ton of life left. The guitar set up beautifully and there is room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustment. Several parts are non-original. The nut has been replaced with bone; the original nut is included. The bridge is a Gotoh with nylon saddles, replacing the original, which is also included. Pickup lead solder joints are non-original. Pickup mounting screws and bridge hardware screws are non-original. Action measures 2/32" on both the first and sixth strings at the 12th fret on 10-46s. The original case is included but is in fair condition — one latch is broken and two have been replaced.
