"Dark Ironwood" Belt/Utility Knife This hidden-tang, edge-quenched blade is forged from 1084 high carbon steel with ground/hand-rubbed flats, hand-rubbed bevels and is etched to show "multiple" Hamon/quench lines in the blade. The blade also has a beveled spine and clip. This blade has a 4 3/4" cutting edge and is 10 1/4" overall, weighing in at 8.4 oz. The handle is A-grade Desert Ironwood with a contoured guard of pre-1900 Lake Superior wrought iron with a black G-10 spacer and an etched mild steel set pin to match up and hold. This knife comes with a fully tooled/carved, two-tone leather pouch sheath with a matching tooled belt loop by Gerald Harper, Saddle Mountain Leather.
