Vintage 1960s Modernist Finnish Silver & Banded Agate Brooch by Santtu Kiviharju 1963

Vintage Finnish silver brooch by Santtu Kiviharju, dating to the 1960s. The brooch has a polished modernist silver setting with a sweeping curved triangular shape and a central banded agate stone. The agate has dark grey, grey and golden banding, set raised from the silver. A strong Finnish modernist piece with a bold sculptural form and clean mid-century design. Size: 6.3cm x 3cm Hallmarks: Santtu Kiviharju makers mark, Finnish crown mark, 916h for 916 grade silver, Helsinki city mark, date letter K7 for year 1963, Kasityo (handmade) This has been cleaned ready to wear.
