Ardbeg Ardbog is a highly sought-after limited-edition Islay single malt Scotch whisky, released in 2013 to celebrate Ardbeg Day during the Islay Festival (Fèis Ìle). Bottled at 52.1% ABV, this distinctive expression was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and Manzanilla sherry casks, creating a unique balance of Ardbeg's signature peat smoke with savoury coastal notes and rich sherry complexity. Named after the peat bogs surrounding the distillery, Ardbog has become one of the most collectible modern Ardbeg releases and is prized by enthusiasts worldwide. 700ml Tasting Notes Nose: Intense peat smoke, seaweed, smoked bacon, brine, dark chocolate, olives and subtle citrus zest. Palate: Rich bonfire smoke, salted caramel, espresso, liquorice, black pepper, smoked meats and savoury Manzanilla sherry notes.
