A fine Pair of late Victorian footstools. Repaired, Restored and Reupholsteted in High end French Designer fabric. Oak frames in tact.

This pretty pair have been fully refurbished using modern, fire retardant materials and covered in a high end fabric.Featuring turned wood bases with spindle stretchers and the tops have been accented with decorative brass nailheads.The wooden frames are of oak and the top fabric is called "Reubens" by Casel. This is an expensive velvet jacquard upholstery fabric, currently available. The pattern is of vintage pink roses with green foliage on a cream background.Despite their age the wood frames are in remarkably good condition. One base has been replaced with new plywood. The wood frames have been cleaned and resealed with a beeswax based sealer.They are offered for sale as a matching pair.The measurements in centimetres areHeight 20Width 25Length 30I aim to source / rescue quality furniture that just needs a bit of tlc to restore them to their former glory.
