Bsu DNA Polymerase (Large Fragment, 50 U/μL) _ 14415ES
Bsu DNA polymerase (Large Fragment) is derived from Bacillus subtilis. This enzyme retains the 5′-to-3′ polymerase activity of Bsu DNA polymerase I but lacks the 5′-to-3′ exonuclease domain. The large fragment itself lacks 3′-to-5′ exonuclease activity. It is a DNA isothermal amplification polymerase with strand-displacement activity and is mainly used in Recombinase Polymerase Amplification (RPA). Product Information Catalog No. 14415ES72 / 14415ES80 / 14415ES90 / 14415ES97 Size 2,500 U / 5,000 U / 50,000 U / 250,000 U Unit Definition One unit (U) is defined as the amount of enzyme required to incorporate 10 nmol of dNTPs into acid-insoluble material within 30 min at 37°C. Storage Buffer 25 mM Tris-HCl, 50 mM NaCl, 1 mM DTT, 0.1 mM EDTA, 50% Glycerol, pH 7.4 at 25°C. Heat Inactivation 75°C for 20 min. Component Information Product Name 14415ES72 (2,500 U) 14415ES80 (5,000 U) 14415ES90 (50,000 U) 14415ES97 (250,000 U) Bsu DNA Polymerase (Large Fragment, 50 U/μL) 50 μL 100 μL 1 mL 5 × 1 mL Feature Due to the lack of 3′-to-5′ exonuclease activity, Bsu DNA polymerase (Large Fragment) cannot remove unpaired 3′ overhangs and is therefore not suitable for generating blunt ends. At 25°C, Bsu DNA polymerase (Large Fragment) retains 50% activity, which is twice that of Klenow Fragment (3′-to-5′ exo-) at the same temperature. Storage buffer: 25 mM Tris-HCl, 50 mM NaCl, 1 mM DTT, 0.1 mM EDTA, 50% Glycerol, pH 7.4 at 25°C. Heat inactivation: 75°C for 20 min. Storage Store at -25°C to -15°C. The shelf life is 2 years.
