Drugdiag® Saliva Innovation 8 NPS 8-Drug Saliva Test
IN VITRO DEVICE — 8 PANELS INCLUDING NPSDrugdiag® Saliva Innovation 8 NPS: multi-drug and NPS saliva test The Drugdiag® Saliva Innovation 8 NPS is a professional multi-drug saliva test designed for rapid oral-fluid analysis. It screens 8 panels, including three extended NPS panels: THC, cocaine, amphetamines, methamphetamines, opiates, K2 synthetic cannabinoids, ketamine and fentanyl. The K2, KET and FYL panels extend screening beyond the five conventional roadside drug families. Developed by the French laboratory Toda Pharma, this qualitative test provides a preliminary result. The cut-offs of the five roadside panels — THC 15, COC 10, AMP 50, MET 50 and MOP 10 ng/mL — correspond to the French minimum thresholds; this correspondence does not mean that the product is the exact device used by the Gendarmerie or Police. A positive result or official use requires confirmation by GC/MS or LC/MS/MS. Detection panels and cut-offs Eight-parameter toxicological profile THCTargets Δ9-THC, the active component of cannabis. Cut-off of 15 ng/mL, corresponding to the minimum threshold for roadside saliva screening in France.15 ng/mL COCScreens for cocaine and benzoylecgonine at a cut-off of 10 ng/mL.10 ng/mL AMPScreens for amphetamines at a cut-off of 50 ng/mL. Medicines and potential interference must be interpreted according to the instructions.50 ng/mL METScreens for methamphetamines and related compounds at a cut-off of 50 ng/mL, according to the manufacturer’s instructions.50 ng/mL MOPScreens for opiates, including morphine and related compounds, at a cut-off of 10 ng/mL.10 ng/mL K2Screens for synthetic cannabinoids in the K2 panel at a cut-off of 25 ng/mL, according to the manufacturer’s instructions.25 ng/mL KETScreens for ketamine at a cut-off of 30 ng/mL, according to the manufacturer’s instructions.30 ng/mL FYLScreens for fentanyl at a cut-off of 10 ng/mL, according to the manufacturer’s instructions.10 ng/mL Key point: the five roadside cut-offs correspond to the French regulatory minimum thresholds, while K2, KET and FYL form the NPS extension. A CBD product containing traces of THC may produce a positive result on the THC panel. Innovation formatSampling ergonomics and safetyThe removable strip facilitates collection and limits direct handling of oral fluid by the operator. It does not eliminate the risk of error: sampling, reading time and interpretation must follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Professional and legal uses Recommended framework of use Occupational health and CACESPreventive screening for safety-sensitive positions only within a planned, proportionate and confidential framework that complies with the applicable rules. Safety checksDeployment on industrial, construction or logistics sites to help prevent accidents linked to impaired alertness. Road safety preventionProvides an indication of detectable substances in saliva; this test does not measure fitness to drive and does not replace an official check. Kinetics and detection timeDetection window in oral fluidThe detection window varies according to the substance, the time since the last use and the frequency of use. It also depends on the quantity, metabolism and sampling quality; no universal period can predict the result of a check with certainty. Analytical reading Immunochromatographic migration principle Negative — C + T linesThe control line C and test line T, even if faint, are interpreted as a negative result according to the instructions. Positive — C line onlyThe control line C without a test line T is interpreted as a positive result at the cut-off of the relevant panel. Invalid testNo control line C indicates insufficient sample volume or a procedural error. The analysis must be repeated. Limits and confirmationProtocol following a positive resultThis qualitative test identifies the presence of substances but does not quantify the exact degree of intoxication. Any disciplinary sanction, medical decision of unfitness or legal action must be based on a certified confirmation analysis — GC/MS or LC/MS/MS — carried out by an appropriate laboratory. Product page reviewed by AMA Prévention from the manufacturer’s instructions. Results are preliminary, detection windows vary between individuals and use must strictly follow the instructions.
