Zipper Sweater Light The Zipper Sweater Light is worked seamlessly from the top down, creating a relaxed everyday sweater with a modern oversized fit. A folded collar with a concealed zipper facing gives the sweater a clean, professional finish inside and out. The collar is worked first in rib, folded double and knitted together. The yoke is shaped with raglan increases, beginning flat to create the front zipper opening before joining to work the remainder of the yoke in the round. The body and sleeves are then worked seamlessly in the round. To finish, a facing is worked from resting stitches and the zipper is sewn neatly between the two knitted layers, giving the inside of the sweater an equally polished appearance. The Zipper Sweater Light is designed with approx. 20 cm of positive ease for an oversized fit. If you prefer a closer fit, consider knitting a smaller size. Before beginning your project, knit a swatch to ensure you achieve the correct gauge after washing and blocking.
