Recycling leather can either be done while keeping 100% of everything intact or by disintegrating leather into fibrous particles, powders, and pieces to be combined with binding agents where it makes up more than 50% of the final product. It is predominately made from pre-consumer production scraps, in either form, or recycled leather fibers attached to the surface of a synthetic material.
