A collection bringing together the personal correspondence between J.S. Mill and his wife, the philosopher Harriet Taylor Mill, edited by the Libertarian economist Friedrich von Hayek, who considered his own book The Constitution of Liberty (1960) as a spiritual successor to Mill’s On Liberty (1859).
