Lemonpeel Angelfish

Centropyge flavissima The Lemonpeel Angelfish is a flash of pure yellow edged with brilliant blue around the eyes, gill cover, and fins. Its bold colour and curious grazing behaviour make it an eye-catching centrepiece for a mature marine aquarium. A varied menu served in several modest feedings supports colour, body condition, and steady grazing behaviour. Compatibility Lemonpeels can become territorial with other angelfish and similarly shaped fish. They usually do best as the only dwarf angel, with peaceful tankmates established before their introduction. Good to know: Coral and clam nipping is an individual behaviour and this species carries meaningful reef risk. It is best for hobbyists who can monitor closely and move the fish if necessary.
