It needs a little time to open but when it does it reveals lovely notes of dark blackberry, damson, spice, pepper, black olive and bay leaf. The tannins are present but very supple and the wine has a lovely freshness. It's harmonious, balanced and long, and it evolves in the glass, which I always like in a wine. In fact, I had a glass then went out for a couple of hours and Jo had nearly finished the bottle in my absence - always a sign of a moreish wine! After a couple of hours it had really opened up, showing more aromatics and softness. Delicious and very impressive. 3 BOTTLES AVAILABLE
