Individual seats and console sections can be repositioned to create a layout that works for your room. You could have five seats along one side and one on the other, move either console to a different position, remove seats to reduce the overall size or add more seats to create an even larger cinema sofa. Each armless seat added or removed adjusts the relevant side by approximately 50cm. Each drinks console added, removed or repositioned accounts for approximately 30cm. WILL IT FIT IN YOUR ROOM? The configuration shown measures approximately 350cm along one side and 320cm along the other. Because the Donald is fully modular, its dimensions and layout can be adjusted before ordering. Use this simple guide to work out the best configuration for your space. Measure both walls Starting from the corner of the room, measure along each wall and write down the maximum available length on both sides. Remember to account for: Doorways and the space needed for doors to open Radiators, fireplaces and skirting boards Windows and curtains Plug sockets you need to access Walkways around the sofa Space in front of the reclining seats Mark out the sofa on your floor Use masking tape to mark out the standard 350cm × 320cm configuration on your floor. This will help you see how much space the sofa will occupy and whether it could affect doors, walkways or other furniture. Make sure you also allow clear space in front of the four reclining seats so their footrests can open comfortably. Adjust the measurements using the modules Each armless seat is approximately 50cm wide. Each drinks-console module is approximately 30cm wide. To reduce one side: Remove one armless seat to reduce it by approximately 50cm Remove one drinks console to reduce it by approximately 30cm Remove one seat and one console to reduce it by approximately 80cm To make one side longer: Add one armless seat to increase it by approximately 50cm Add one drinks console to increase it by approximately 30cm Add one seat and one console to increase it by approximately 80cm For example: The 350cm side could be reduced to approximately 300cm by removing one 50cm armless seat. The 320cm side could be reduced to approximately 290cm by removing one 30cm drinks console. Removing one seat and one console would reduce the relevant side by approximately 80cm. The modules can also be moved from one side to the other. This allows you to create layouts such as five seats on one side and one on the other, depending on the shape of your room. Check access into your home The Donald separates into individual modules for delivery, making access considerably easier than with a one-piece corner sofa.
