[GOBJET] Pilham Toon & Zelkova Burl (Small)

🔴 Brand Story Gobjet combines "Go" (古, old) and "Objet," expressing the idea that traditional furniture can live on as an object of sculptural value in modern life. Founded by a craftsman born into a family of National Intangible Heritage joinery and trained in the Korean tradition, Gobjet treats woodworking as a process of building time and memory. Rather than simply recreating tradition, each piece reinterprets it with a contemporary sensibility, using natural woods such as chamjuk (Chinese toon), zelkova and meokgam (ink-black persimmon) to bring out the warmth of real wood. 🟠 Pilham Toon & Zelkova Burl (Small) 🟡 Key Features - Traditional Korean Pen Case (Pilham), Small Size - Chinese Toon (Chamjuk) & Zelkova Burl Wood - Contemporary Reinterpretation of Traditional Furniture - Handcrafted by a Korean Joiner - Natural Wood Grain, Each Piece Unique - Storage for Pens, Brushes & Writing Tools - Sculptural Object for Modern Living Spaces 🟢 Description - A reinterpretation of the pilham, a traditional Korean case for keeping brushes and writing tools, in a slim, small size. - Combines Chinese toon (chamjuk), a warm, fine-grained Korean hardwood, with zelkova burl, whose swirling grain comes from the knots of the tree, so no two pieces look alike. - Handcrafted by a joiner trained in Korea's National Intangible Heritage tradition of fine wood furniture making (sombokjang). - Designed as both a functional storage piece and a sculptural object, bringing the proportions and beauty of traditional Korean furniture into modern spaces. - Size: 250 x 50 x 45 mm.
