Scratch-resistant does not mean scratch-proof. What to consider Glass is generally heavier and less impact-resistant than plastic. It can chip or break and is generally unsuitable for sports, children’s eyewear or situations needing impact protection. Will these lenses suit my frames? Frame condition, construction, size and prescription affect suitability. Please ask our team if you are unsure. Do not assume that rimless or semi-rimless frames are suitable for glass lenses.
