2024 Domaine Ragot Givry 'Clos Jus' Premier Cru, Burgundy, France
Domaine Ragot is run by Nicolas Ragot, whose 9.5 hectares of vines lie entirely within Givry in the Côte Chalonnaise. Clos Jus is a one-hectare Premier Cru on east-facing clay-limestone at 250 to 270 metres. The wine is 100% Pinot Noir, fermented with natural yeasts and aged for 12 months in French oak, around 40% new. The 2024 shows spice, pepper and black fruit. Spicy Côte Chalonnaise red for charcuterie, roast pork or duck.
