Athos and Olympus stoves can take their combustion air from the room or, with the optional outdoor air kit, directly from outside the home. Standard (room air) – The stove draws air from the room it heats. Your installer will advise whether a fixed air vent is needed under Building Regulations. Outdoor Air Kit – Ducts air to the stove from outside, which suits well-insulated, airtight homes and helps avoid drawing warm air out of the room.
