1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb AB763 (OH)

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb. The Deluxe Reverb is often considered a “desert island amp” for its remarkable versatility, portability, and unmistakable tone. With approximately 22 watts of power, a pair of 6V6 power tubes, and lush tube-driven spring reverb, it delivers the ideal balance of Fender cleans, touch sensitivity, and natural overdrive that have made it a longtime favorite across genres. This Deluxe Reverb shows an August 1965 production stamp (OH) and features its original Schumacher transformers, choke, original Oxford 12K5-6 12”speaker, and internal components. The only apparent modification appears to be an aftermarket ungrounded line cord. Cosmetically and structurally, the amp is in excellent condition, with below-average wear, no breaks or repairs, and an intact tube chart. The original handle, Tolex covering, and silver grille cloth complete the package. The original caps are still intact and show no signs of leakage. This amp was owned and used in a church having only weekly use for many years, perhaps lending to its excellent preserved condition. Just gone through by our amp technician this amp sounds remarkable, needing only a bias on the tubes. This Deluxe Reverb is one that checks all the boxes.
