Custom progressive rate coil springs from Geiser Off-Road for the 2022+ Ford Bronco Raptor, sold here as the complete four-spring set. About 2.5" of lift in the front and 1.5" in the rear, wound on a progressive rate that is built to carry weight rather than simply raise ride height. They run on the factory shocks, and they work with the FOX Live Valve system with no recalibration required. If you only need the back of the vehicle, the Geiser rear springs are sold separately. Lift, Spring Rate and Load Capacity A progressive rate spring is softer at the start of its travel and firms up as it compresses, which is what lets one spring handle both an unloaded daily drive and a loaded weekend without feeling like a compromise at either end. Geiser load tested the rear of this kit with 400 lb in the rear plus a 100 lb spare and roof rack, and the vehicle settled 1" under that load. That is the number to keep in mind if you are running a rear bumper, a tire carrier, a roof tent, or fuel and gear for a long weekend. The front springs raise the nose about 2.5" and give the front end a taller, more planted stance than the factory rake. Live Valve and Tire Clearance These springs work with the factory FOX Live Valve suspension. Recalibration is not required, though you are welcome to have it done. The kit will accommodate a 39" tire. Trimming may be required depending on your tire size and wheel offset. What We Recommend Running With Them About 2.5" of front lift is more height than a lift collar or a preload top hat adds, and there are two front end parts we would put alongside these springs. Heavy Duty Billet Top Hat — front only The factory front top hat carries the shock shaft on a rubber bushing, and that bushing is the known weak point on the Bronco Raptor — especially once aftermarket or higher rate springs are installed. When it lets go, the shock can drop out of the spring bucket and damage other suspension components. Our Heavy Duty billet top hat replaces the rubber with a wide series 7/8" FK uniball and a threaded top retainer. This applies to the front only. The rear shock on the Bronco Raptor mounts differently and does not use a top hat, so there is nothing to change at the back. Billet Upper Control Arms Any change in ride height moves the front alignment, and the factory upper arm gives you nowhere to put it back. Our billet upper control arm kit runs 7/8" FK rod ends at the frame for full caster and camber adjustment, a 1.25" FK uniball at the spindle, and includes wheel position sensor mount plates so Live Valve keeps reading the suspension. Installation Notes This is a spring swap — the factory shocks stay on the vehicle. Geiser recommends a wall mounted spring compressor for the job. Factory coil springs are under significant tension. Compressing them requires the proper equipment and procedure, and improper installation can result in serious injury or damage to the vehicle. We recommend professional installation. Have the Bronco Raptor professionally aligned afterward. Any change in ride height affects front suspension geometry, and skipping the alignment is how you end up with uneven front tire wear. No. A lift collar adds preload to the spring you already have. These are replacement springs with a different rate, which is the better answer once you are carrying real weight rather than just setting ride height.
