RC toys · STEM build · Ages 10+ Fold a paper plane. Then fly it by remote. A normal paper plane glides for a few seconds and lands where it likes. Tape this tiny motor module underneath and it becomes a real remote-control aircraft. Two propellers push it along, a built-in gyro keeps it steady, and you steer left and right with the controller. Fold a new design, swap the module across and see how it flies. 2.4GHz remote control Twin propellers 6-axis gyro stabiliser USB rechargeable Ultra-light module Ages 10+ Paper not included How it works 1 Fold. Make a paper plane from a sheet of A4 printer paper, 80 to 100 gsm. 2 Attach. Tape the motor module to the underside with clear tape, centred along the fold. 3 Fly. Switch it on, throw it gently forward in an open space and steer with the remote. Why it beats an ordinary RC plane They build the plane themselves Seeing a plane you folded take off under your control is a different feeling from flying something out of a box. A crash costs one sheet of paper If a wing crumples, fold another plane and move the module across. Beginners can learn without worrying about breaking an expensive model. Steering with no rudder The two propellers spin at different speeds to turn the plane. Children see how thrust and balance work, which is real aerodynamics. Endless designs to test Darts, gliders, wide wings, narrow wings. Every fold flies differently, so there is always a new design to try. In the box 1 twin-propeller motor module with built-in gyro 1 2.4GHz remote controller Rechargeable flight battery 1 USB charging cable Paper not included: use your own A4 printer paper Details Control 2.4GHz remote Steering Twin propellers, differential thrust Stabiliser Built-in 6-axis gyro Module size About 11 × 7 cm Paper A4, 80 to 100 gsm, not included Power Rechargeable battery, USB charging Recommended age 10 years and up Questions about this kit Is paper included? No. Use ordinary A4 printer paper, 80 to 100 gsm. Folding your own plane is part of the fun, and a pack of printer paper gives you hundreds of flights. How does it steer? The remote speeds one propeller up and slows the other down, and the plane turns towards the slower side. No rudder is needed. Can it fly indoors? It flies best outdoors in an open space on a calm day. Wind will push a paper plane around, so avoid gusty weather. Is it hard to fly? The gyro helps keep it level, so beginners get the hang of it quickly. Expect a few crash landings at first, and simply fold a new plane. One sheet of paper, one motor, and a plane that goes where you steer it. Safety: recommended for ages 10 and up. Contains small parts, electronics and moving propellers. Keep fingers, hair and loose clothing away from the propellers. Fly in an open area away from people, animals, roads and power lines. Charge with an adult present.
