A silent guardian of the ancient forest... The Forest Watcher was entirely carved by hand from natural Chrome Diopside and weighs 547 grams. Its deeply set eyes, powerful brow and strong, uncompromising features give this Stone Being a calm but unmistakable authority. A large part of the original crystalline surface has deliberately been preserved. It forms a rugged natural crown above the carved face, keeping the finished sculpture visibly connected to the raw stone from which it emerged. Chrome Diopside is admired for its rich forest-green colour and its strong connection with nature. Metaphysically, it is associated with the heart, emotional renewal, compassion and the restoration of inner balance.
