Eastern Egg Rock
Inspired by the island that welcomed back puffins in 1977 - this piece depicts Eastern Egg Rock in Maine and two Atlantic Puffins! Maine Scenes are inspired by my 2026 Artist Residency at the Audubon Seabird Institute's Hog Island Camp. During this residency, I made miniature sculptures inspired by the animals and ecosystems around me in coastal Maine. This piece is hand sculpted and painted - made with intention and love. Porcelain with underglaze, wire, glossy glaze.
