'Swelo' letterpress woodtype typeface

Introducing 'Swelo' - a typeface based on 1930s design by Samuel Welo for the book 'Practical Lettering - Modern and Foreign'. 10 line (42.3mm) size cut from end grain English hardwood using a combination of modern CNC technology and traditional hand woodworking tools (including an original printers saw), made to English type-high (0.918in or 23.3mm) within plus or minus 0.1mm tolerance, sealed with shellac and hand finished with a traditional polished printing surface. Available as single letters or a scheme of 3A capitals (60 blocks) and a Kerning Collection (8 blocks plus 2 Kedges). Please see scheme details on the right. Introducing the ‘Kedge’ - a wedge designed for kerning with specially made ‘Swelo’ kerning blocks. Other sizes and schemes available on request.
