Buy 1 for $15.00 / Buy 5 for $65.00 If you love deep blue Hydrangeas, ‘Enziandom’ is a particularly special variety. Widely regarded as one of the finest and most intensely coloured blue mophead Hydrangeas, it produces large, rounded flower heads in a striking deep cobalt to gentian blue. The colour is at its richest when grown in acidic soil, where the blooms can develop an almost velvety blue tone. Summer flowering, makes a wonderful feature for a shaded garden or large pot. Enjoys a rich, moisture-retentive soil. Keep well watered through the warmer months. 1-1.5m x 1-1.5m. Fun Fact: Originally bred in Germany by August Steiniger in 1950, the name ‘Enziandom’ refers to the gentian flower, inspired by its intense Alpine-blue colouring. It is also often sold under the trade name ‘Gentian Dome’.
