Charaku Fine Japanese Tea 2026 Kagoshima Spring Harvest Tea Variety Pack Gift Box, 4 x 50g, Naturally Grown teas with no synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. A gift box with a variety of four naturally-grown teas representing different teas tastes and processing styles from four distinct growing regions of Kyushu's Kagoshima Prefecture, which grows over a quarter of the tea in all of Japan. A great gift (we can also provide gift notes*) for an experienced Japanese tea drinker, or for someone just starting on their Japanese tea journey that wants to experience difference teas. It's also a great value to gift yourself! -Saemidori Fukamushi (deep-steamed) Sencha from Kanoya, a region known for fukamushi tea. This tea has a rich taste and color, but with less caffeine than regular-steamed Sencha. -Yabukita-Saemidori Blend Sencha from Sou Town (formerly the villages of Ousumi, Sueyoshi, and Takarabe, which merged in 2005 to create the Town of Sou.) Light sweetness and low astringency makes this a good everyday tea. -Gyokuro (Precious Jade Dew) from Hioki. This Saemidori-cultivar Gyokuro is well-balanced, with the characteristic umami and sweetness for which gyokuro is known, with just a hint of astringency on latter infusions. Gyokuro is the highest category of shaded green tea. -Benifuuki WaKoucha (Japanese Black Tea) from Satsuma is a fine example of Japanese black tea. It has a lovely brick red color, is smooth with mellow caramel notes and a slightly sweet finish. Great straight, but it can also stand up to milk, sugar, lemon, or ice. *We're happy to include a personalized note for you! Just include the desired text in the Comments section of your order.
