This 47cm hand-painted vase brings the Sissy Holiday collection's signature lotus artistry into a deeper, more dramatic register: a rich burgundy colourway, paired with soft blush-pink florals for a jewel-toned finish. Grand in scale and striking in contrast, it makes a bold statement piece for an entryway, mantel, or formal display, while carrying forward the individually hand-painted, hand-gilded craftsmanship Zsolnay has practiced since 1853. At 47cm, it's among the largest silhouettes in the collection, giving the hand-painted decoration a generous canvas to unfold across the surface with real depth and drama. A broad deep burgundy panel, dusted with a fine hand-painted texture of tiny white spirals and dots, wraps around one side of the vase — the same intricate, textile-like patterning found throughout the collection, now rendered in a moodier, jewel-toned hue.
