French Learning Tarot Deck — Meanings on Every Card, 1909 Classic Art

Description + Learn Tarot in French, Straight From the Cards The French Learning Tarot Deck is a complete 78-card tarot deck where every card explains itself, in French. Pamela Colman Smith's classic 1909 artwork sits at the centre of each card, and around it you read the card's name, one sentence with its core meaning, four upright keywords, four reversed keywords and a question to ask about your own situation. In the middle of a reading you do not have to look anything up: the meaning is in your hand the moment you turn the card over. For deeper study, a full digital guidebook comes with it: the PDF tarot course in your language, printable at home. Made for French-speaking Beginners Many tarot decks come with an English-only guide, or with no words at all. This deck is written for people who think and read in French: beginners who want to start reading from the first day, students who want to learn the 78 cards faster, and anyone buying tarot as a gift for a French-speaking friend or relative. It also works as a study deck or for teaching others. Quality You Can Feel Every card is printed on 300 gsm card stock with a matte protective lamination that protects the surface and keeps it free of glare. The cards are the standard 2.75" x 4.72" (7 x 12 cm) tarot size, and the deck comes in a soft-touch box with a velvety matte finish. Trusted by Buyers Worldwide Language: French. (Care and creativity help what matters grow without smothering its natural movement.) Upright: créativité, attention bienveillante, abondance, croissance (creativity, kind attention, abundance, growth) Reversed: dépendance excessive, soin étouffant, créativité bloquée, négligence (over-dependence, smothering care, blocked creativity, neglect) In your question: "Qu'est-ce qui pourrait grandir avec à la fois du soin et de l'espace ?" (What could grow with both care and room?) How to Read With It Ask your question, draw a card and lay it on the table. Read the sentence under the name first. Then look at the side that matches how the card landed: the left column if it is upright, the right column if it is reversed. Finish with the question at the bottom and answer it for your own situation. The more often you read the text, the sooner you will recognise each card by its picture alone. Feature This Learning Deck Classic Deck With a Guidebook Where the meanings are Printed on every card, in French In a separate guidebook During a reading Glance at the card Look each card up in the guidebook Reversed meanings Four keywords on every card Depends on the guidebook A question for your situation One on every card Not on the card Card faces The 1909 picture framed by text The picture only Best for Learning the 78 cards and reading from day one Readers who already know the meanings or prefer clean card faces Common Questions + Is all the text on the cards in French? Yes. The card names, the core sentences, the upright and reversed keywords and the questions are all in French. The English titles that sit under the original 1909 pictures have been left out, so the only words on the cards are French. Is a guidebook included? Yes, as a PDF. Every deck comes with a digital guidebook, the full tarot course in your language, printable at home, in addition to the meanings printed on each card. We e-mail your personal download link after purchase, and our free online guide covers all 78 cards. I have never read tarot. Is this deck right for me? Yes. It was made for exactly that. You can start the day it arrives: draw a card, read the sentence under its name, check the upright or reversed keywords, and answer the question at the bottom. Can I read reversed cards with it? Yes. Every card shows four keywords for the upright position on the left and four for the reversed position on the right. Which tarot system does it follow? The classic system based on Pamela Colman Smith's 1909 deck, the system taught in many tarot books and courses: 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana in four suits. Is it a good gift for a French-speaking person? Yes. It needs no translation and no experience, a digital guidebook (PDF) arrives by e-mail, and the soft-touch box looks good without extra wrapping. For a present, the Gift Set adds a wooden box and a velvet bag. Where do you ship this deck? This deck is stocked only in our European warehouse in Bulgaria.
