Blueberry Smoothie™ Hardy Hibiscus

Give your late-season garden a refreshing burst of color with Blueberry Smoothie™ Hardy Hibiscus. Its large, fully double flowers feature layers of ruffled blue-purple petals that resemble blueberry ice cream. The blooms emerge continuously from early summer until frost, creating a long-lasting display when many other flowering shrubs are beginning to fade. Deep green foliage provides the perfect backdrop for the uncommon flower color, while the upright, woody habit adds height and structure to the landscape. Plant it as an eye-catching specimen, incorporate it into a mixed border or use several to create a colorful flowering hedge. Because Blueberry Smoothie™ Hardy Hibiscus is sterile, it won’t produce unwanted seedlings—keeping its energy focused on vigorous growth and an abundance of beautiful blooms. Zone 5-8.
