Cashmere is a cross between Cascade and Northern Brewer, with a higher alpha acid content than standard Cascade. This hop is packed with citrus notes of lemon and lime, along with a pleasant melon character. It also has a subtle hint of herbs in its aroma. Aroma/Flavor: Lemon, Lime, Melon, Herbs. Flushing with nitrogen displaces oxygen, which would otherwise degrade the quality of the hops. This method reduces the oxygen content in the package to 0.6-0.8%, which is excellent for preserving quality, flavor, and aroma. The hops package should be stored in a cool place at <4 degrees Celsius. Once opened, the package should be compressed and sealed with a zip-lock for continued storage in the refrigerator.
