Georgian Three Stone Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring
A Georgian era diamond cluster ring, fabricated in 18k rose gold and silver, whose primary gems are a trio of oval, rose cut diamonds. These many-faceted, high-dome roses are held in silver cut down collets, where they are surrounded by smaller, collet-set, rose cut diamond rounds. All of the settings here are closed-back, and all of the diamonds are foiled. The ring's split shank features a bound detail at the shoulder, and a carefully engraved, all-over notched texture. This reads like a garland of dark flowers, and the way light rolls across the facets of these old rose cuts is uniquely seductive. This is a rarity, in exceptional condition.
