Light the Lamp, Not the Rat Christmas Shirt

Filed under: Workplace Incident Report. Narrator & Rat, Lamplighters, Dickens Street. One of them was supposed to light the lamp. The other one was the rat. You know how this went. Printed on Comfort Colors 1717 in Blue Spruce — garment-dyed, ring-spun cotton that shows up already soft and gets better from there. Three ink colors, cream and amber on the green, with the type knocked back so it sits down into the fabric instead of on top of it. Drawn by hand in Illustrator over four rounds, mostly because a Victorian lamp is a tall object and a chest is a wide one. Nothing on it names the film. Nothing has a face on it. Someone in line at the post office will either say it back to you or they won't.
