Rinse in cold water first. Cold water lifts blood before it sets. Hot water does the opposite and locks stains in. A quick 30-second cold rinse in the sink or shower before the wash is all it takes. 2. Machine wash on a cold or warm cycle with your regular detergent. Wash with like colours. 3. Do not use fabric softener. Softener coats the fibres and reduces absorbency over time. Skip it entirely. 4. Line dry or tumble on low heat. High heat can damage the waterproof and absorbent layers.
