At 11,540 feet, Chasm Lake sits at the base of Longs Peak, the tallest mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park. If timed properly, a striking sunrise rewards those crazy enough to hike the 2,390 feet of elevation in the dark pre-dawn hours.
