Tweed by Isager is a 4ply blend of 70% wool and 30% mohair, spun and dyed in Ireland. This yarn has a slightly irregular, homespun look, yet the mohair fibres give the yarn a remarkable softness and lovely sheen. The small flecks throughout the yarn make for a interesting and lively surface. Isager Tweed works equally well for both indoor and outdoor garments, knitted together with other yarns and also used individually. Perfect for using alongside Alpaca 1, Alpaca 2 or silk mohair for a softer structure.
