Davide's Classic Italian Tiramisu
The dessert Veneto gave the world. Made by someone who grew up eating it. Tiramisu is probably the most recognised Italian dessert in the world - but Davide didn't just grow up eating it, he grew up in the region of Italy where it was invented. That's not a detail that's lost on him. This is his version: free-range egg yolks whipped with caster sugar into a thick, glossy zabaglione, folded through mascarpone and cream, layered over Savoiardi biscuits soaked in real espresso. No shortcuts, no substitutes, nothing that doesn't belong. Each container holds two serves of Davide's mascarpone mix, rich, cloud-like, and just set enough to hold its shape when you lift a spoon through it, layered over biscuits that have drunk in the coffee without losing themselves entirely. Best served dusted generously with real Dutch or Belgian cocoa powder, straight from the fridge after an overnight rest. Two serves. One bowl. That's probably how it'll go. Made with ❤️ by Davide
