One pair of sunglasses for every occasion - Walton Edition If you read our blog, you already know: we’re big fans of the outdoor family Walton. In 2024, we invited them to Switzerland – and while they were busy discovering our country with wide-eyed excitement, their four kids captured their adventures in drawings. We’ve now turned those memories into a print on our new Tis Sunglasses. At some point, every parent has this moment: you’re getting ready to leave the house with the kids, the sun is shining outside – so of course, the last thing you reach for is your sunglasses. Nothing is more annoying than squinting your way through the playground, a walk in the woods, a day at the pool or a hike without proper eye protection. And then, mid-grab, the thought hits you: why am I wearing sunglasses, and the little ones aren’t? That’s why there’s Tis. We designed them specifically for young explorers aged 4 to 7. Children’s eyes are significantly more sensitive to UV radiation because their lenses are still clearer than those of adults. That’s why we use Category 3 polarized lenses with 100% UV protection, a darker tint that allows only around 8 to 18% light transmission. For relaxed vision, even in bright light. And because well-protected eyes tend to come up with the boldest adventures, the lenses are scratch-resistant and the frame is extremely flexible, lightweight and durable – made from Tritan™ Renew, a BPA-free, hypoallergenic material consisting of 50% certified recycled plastic. In short: maximum protection, minimal stress. Or in other words: something solid for those little rascals’ noses.
