Quindío, Colombia Jairo Arcila is a third-generation coffee grower from Quindío, Colombia, with a lifetime dedicated to coffee. Before retiring in 2019, he spent over 40 years as Mill Manager for one of Colombia’s largest exporters, developing deep technical expertise. With guidance from his sons, now experts in speciality coffee, Jairo has refined every stage of production, from selective picking and sorting to precise processing. With the help of his sons, his farms produce a range of exotic varieties including Pink Bourbon, Java, Papayo and Gesha. Alongside coffee, Jairo also grows fruit crops such as mandarin, orange and banana, maintaining a diverse and balanced farming environment rooted in family and tradition.
