Large Rare Liberty Japanese Hand-Carved Occasional Table – Arts & Crafts c.1900–1915 A beautifully carved hardwood occasional table made in Japan for Liberty and Co featuring deeply carved chrysanthemum motifs to the top, legs, and undertier shelf. A rare larger than most Liberty Japanese tables.The hand carving is crisp and detailed throughout, with a rich original patina. Original Japanese workshop ink markings remain to the underside, a characteristic feature of Liberty’s Japanese export furniture from this period.Larger than most Liberty Japanese tables . Very good antique condition. Structurally solid and stable with no loose joints or repairs. Original surface with minor age-related wear.
