Switch Pros 9100 Extension Wiring Harness

The Switch Pros range of products are amazing, we use them all the time, as well as sell them. One thing we dislike is joining cables where there isn't a need. Sometimes with the Switch Pros 9100, the outputs don't reach where they are needed, so we, and many others around the world use terminal strips to join them. So to eliminate some of this, we decided to improve upon the wiring harness, extending the normal 500mm output tails, to 2000mm long. In most engine bay install locations, as well as canopies, the 2000mm length is enough to eliminate most (not all) joins. We have swapped the outputs from standard TXL automotive wire, to high quality, motorsport grade M81044-12 Spec 44 wire. This allows us to get the full 17A - 20A capacity of the outputs, while maintaining the smaller wire gauge of 14AWG. Note: If joining an output is still necessary, its recommended to trim the output tail as short as conveniently possible, before joining on your larger AWG conductor. (less voltage drop)
