Vintage Silver Playing Cards Charm This wonderfully unusual vintage silver charm dates to the 1950s and is crafted as a miniature box of playing cards. Even more impressively, it opens to reveal a complete set of all 52 tiny playing cards inside. This charming novelty piece is packed with delightful detail – one side features a relief design of a hand holding a playing card, surrounded by the four card suits: heart, club, diamond and spade. The charm is stamped SILVER along with the maker’s mark GJ Ltd, which for now is unidentified, despite research. The original catch is no longer present, but the charm remains closed thanks to its well-made hinge and snug fit. Overall the charm is in good condition for its ~70 years of age; see all photos.
