Morpho luna
The Morpho luna is a rare species which, unlike the blue morphos, has a pearly white coat, punctuated by brown spots on its wings. Its subtle reflections are reminiscent of the moon's glow, hence its evocative name. In some traditions, white butterflies are seen as messengers of the soul and bearers of light. Presented in a refined black frame and accompanied by an engraved brass plaque bearing the Deyrolle name, this specimen combines entomological rarity and symbolic poetry.
