Meet The Wine Maker - The Heretics, 24th May

Part of our meet the wine maker series, join us for a relaxed Sunday afternoon wine tasting starting at 12.30pm. Taste and chat through four wines guided by the winemaker themselves, tastings last approx. 1-1.5 hours, reservations for lunch are available post tasting. Gareth co founded The Heretics as a project to champion English wine. Their first grapes came from Essex, specifically the Crouch Valley, which is being heralded as the future for English still wine with ripeness levels higher than any other county in the UK. They work with the best growers and their focus will never stray from the top end of the quality spectrum. This has led to multiple listings in Michelin starred restaurants already so they must be doing something right. Find out more here
