Pulmonary valve diseases constitute a significant and evolving field within cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, particularly in the context of congenital heart disease and the growing population of adult patients with repaired congenital cardiac anomalies. Advances in interventional cardiology over the past two decades have profoundly transformed the manage-ment of right ventricular outflow tract dysfunction, positioning percuta-neous pulmonary valve replacement (PPVR) as a well-established and effective alternative to repeat surgical interventions. The rapid progress in device technology, imaging modalities, patient selection criteria, and procedural techniques necessitates continuous updating of clinical knowledge and practice. In this context, the present book entitled “Current Approach to Pulmonary Valve Diseases: Percutaneous Pulmonary Valve Replacement” aims to provide a comprehensive, up-to-date, and clinically relevant resource for physicians involved in the care of these patients. This book consists of 20 chapters, each authored by experienced cli-nicians with recognized expertise in the field. The content covers a broad spectrum ranging from the pathophysiology of pulmonary valve disorders and patient evaluation to advanced multimodality imaging, contemporary transcatheter valve systems, procedural strategies, complication manage-ment, and long-term follow-up outcomes. Each chapter is structured to integrate current scientific evidence with practical clinical experience, there-by facilitating informed decision-making in daily practice. A distinctive strength of this work is the inclusion of clinical experience from centers presented within an international scientific framework. By combining national expertise with contemporary global literature, this book aims not only to reflect real-world practice but also to contribute meaningfully to the international body of knowledge. The editorial ap-proach and academic rigor have been designed to meet the standards required for inclusion in national and international indexing systems. We believe that this book will serve as a valuable reference for interventional cardiologists, pediatric and adult congenital cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, radiologists, and all healthcare professionals with an interest in pulmonary valve interventions. Furthermore, it is our hope that this work will also function as an educational guide for trainees and young physicians entering this rapidly advancing field. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all contributing au-thors and Türkiye Klinikleri team for their dedication and high-quality sci-entific contributions. It is my belief that this book will provide a meaningful contribution to the understanding and management of pulmonary valve diseases and further support the advancement of percutaneous pulmonary valve therapies.
