Getting all the details on our exclusive Y2 Leather X The Shop Vancouver chore shirt was a bit of a mission. The cats at Y2 worked very hard for us to make sure we got these just right. Cut by hand and sewn in the Y2 factory one at a time. Using an incredibly unique scarred kakishibu horse hide, we wanted to make our version of their work shirt, and combine it with the aesthetic of a classic chore coat to make the perfect chopper riding, workin, life livin jacket we could think of Hand cut and produced one at a time exclusively for The Shop Vancouver by the fine folks at Y2 Leather in Osaka Japan. I am so hyped on how this turned out.. Please note images are of a sample, Production pieces have an added internal breast pocket MATERIAL: 1.3 mm Veg Tanned Kakishibu Horsehide 36.38.40.42.44.46.48.50.52 LINING: cotton with internal pocket MADE IN JAPAN The Shop Scar Chore is cut off the same pattern as The Shop Vancouver steer hide chore ( which is based off a typical japanese work shirt pattern) however the horse hide versions ARE LINED and made of a STIFFER VEG TANNED HIDE so their fit is slightly smaller. Please take this into consideration when placing your order. Our recommendation is to typically go up one size from what you normally wear in a jacket ie size 40 jacket wears a size 42 in the chore work shirts. I personally measure 39.5" around the chest , and usually wear a size 40 , Size Large Ironheart UHF , Medium in most North American pieces and Large in Japanese .. I wear a Size 42 in this shirt, In general most people seem to go one size up from what they measure. Compared to an Iron Heart shirt sizing typically is as follows. Small = 38 Medium = 40 Large = 42 ( tj wears and is wearing a 42 in all images) XLarge = 44 XXLarge = 46 XXXLarge = 48 SPLarge = 50 Please note: Due to the nature of this product, returns or exchanges cannot be accepted for reasons related to natural scars, scratches, or grain variations.
