The FV 430 family of armoured vehicles entered service with the British Army in the 1960s, but regular maintenance and improvements including a new powertrain have enabled this old workhorse to remain in service into the 21st Century. The FV432 can be converted for use in water, when it has a speed of 6km/h. Properly maintained, it is a rugged and reliable vehicle with a good cross country performance.
