Yellow glazed confit jar / vase

A beautifully timeworn yellow glazed pottery vase with twin handles and the most wonderful worn surface. The rich mustard glaze has naturally weathered over time, revealing areas of raw terracotta beneath and creating incredible texture and patina throughout. A sculptural decorative piece that works perfectly styled on a console, kitchen shelf or as part of a collection of rustic Mediterranean pottery. Drainage hole in the bottom. Dimensions: 26 diameter x 40 h cms Condition Report: Heavy age-related wear and losses to the glaze throughout, as shown. General marks, imperfections and surface wear consistent with age and use. No major structural damage noted. A wonderfully weathered decorative piece with lots of character.
